Drakenlint

Compact elegant version of the Dragon Dance.

The Dragon Ribbon is a more compact form of the dragon dance and comes from ribbon dancing. The Chinese Ribbon dance comes from the time of the Tang Dynasty where Emperor Tang had a dream where fairies danced in long robes. He realized this dream with the ribbon dancing. The ribbon dance has taken on several forms over time, including that of the dragon ribbon. The Dragon Ribbon Dance gets its name from the dragon's head that is swung around with a long ribbon that represents the dragon's body. The dragon incarnation is accompanied by acrobatics and large movements. It is also done by recreational users as a form of fitness.
